This is an outstanding concho belt that I have offered in my ebay store. It is old store stock and has never been worn, no holes punched in the belt yet. It has been in storage for many years and wrapped up in a yellow towel the somehow kept the tarnish away. (Why a yellow towel? Who knows.) It has huge rectangular conchos with the theme of traveling. It has both anglo and Native American figures. They are all different. Done in solid sterling silver that is inlay set with mother of pearl, turquoise, jet, coral and jasper. The story told by this story teller is one of travel by wagon and horseback. Men, women and children as well as a beloved dog, all on a journey around this belt. The inlay work is masterful! Background landscape is embellished with hand stamp decoration.
The conchos measure 3" by 2 3/8"as does the buckle. The leather belt is 2" wide. It is 46 1/2" long end to end.
Weighs 574 grams! That's one POUND and 4.2 ounces!
