*Debby*
Here are some photos from the Country home of the late Debby Lawton. She was my friend and business partner. We lost her to breast cancer just about 10 years ago. I still miss her. She was such a neat lady. I handled her estate and it was the finest collection of American country antiques ever. Walking into the Lawton home was like walking into the pages inf Country Home magazine. Having Debby and her dear husband ask me to sell her collections on ebay, changed my life forever. I was a struggling single mother and I will always appreciate what the Lawtons did for me. Thank you Al and Debby. I am forever thankful for how you touched my life.

Antique Sheep
These are some photos of past sales of fantastic antique sheep pull toys. I was a broker then and none of them were mine. Wish I had bought them all. I love them!

Cool Photo Op
I shoot most of my photos outside in natural light so that there is no question regarding the true colors of the stones in the jewelry that I offer. Turquoise can be tricky to shoot correctly. Every once in a while a photo opportunity presents itself and if you are quick, you score. This scarab beetle buzzed my head and landed on my antique ruler for 2 seconds. Enough to get one shot. He's pretty. but a little faded...and he looks old. Well, so do I for that matter. He probably thought the same thing looking at me!
The Peach
I have three fledgling peach trees. I love peaches, but I cannot seem to grow them the way that dad does. My little trees were covered in blooms this spring, but they did not make it. Except for one. The smallest Charlie Brown stick tree of them all produced one peach. I have been watering and protecting it from that damn Mocking Bird who ate my boysenberries. Today, I checked it and today was the day to pick it. My beautiful peach! No bugs, no bird packs..it's peach perfection! I had to photograph it before it became my lunch. It was warm from the sun, sweet and juicy. Here it is, my fruit growing pride and joy! The Peach...

No This, No That
We had breakfast on the pier today. The weather was perfect. Get closer and take a look for yourself...
See, I told you...

We then decided to get our toes wet and onto the sand we went.

Lots of Sun...and Sand...and salty water.
Wait, what?

Go figure.
